Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Subconsultant Engineer to support growth in subconsultant partnerships within the Transmission & Distribution Department. You will help oversee and lead transmission line projects executed by subconsultant partners, ensuring that deliverables meet Ulteig's high quality engineering and client standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• PE License strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in the Transmission Engineering field.
• Effective leadership, mentoring, and client engagement skills.
• Oversight, leadership, and quality review of subconsultant engineering design and project scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical leader and program manager for a portfolio of subconsultant projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned work.
• Provide oversight and conduct training related to the project, client standards, or QA of subconsultants' deliverables.
• Coordinate design aspects and communicate with team members.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers and subconsultant partners.
