Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Subconsultant Engineer to support growth with subconsultant partnerships in the Transmission & Distribution Department.

You will lead a portfolio of subconsultant projects, coordinate design activities, and ensure deliverables meet client standards and internal quality expectations. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, mentoring subconsultant teams, reviewing drawings and PLS-CADD models, and maintaining strong client relationships while traveling up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• PE License strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Transmission Engineering.
• Effective leadership and mentoring skills.
• Oversight of subconsultant engineering design and project scheduling.
• Strong verbal and written communications, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 5% and work with major utility clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of Subconsultant executed projects and coordinate design aspects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to engineers and subconsultant partners.
• Review and produce design drawings including structure framing, plan & profile, load & design drawings and foundations.
• Review PLS-CADD models for design and record drawings.
• Mentor subconsultant teams to meet client expectations and deliverables.
