Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II – Sub Assembly Refrigeration for the 1st shift to assemble refrigeration components, prep coils, and perform leak checks with nitrogen and pressure plates. The role requires reading orders, identifying parts, and assembling systems with brazed tubing.

Teamwork and safety come first as you read schematics, document measurements, and perform pre-startup checks. This position offers on-site work in a collaborative production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading job orders and bills of materials.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with measuring tools (ruler, tape measure, calipers).
• Experience brazing copper tubing and assembling refrigeration components.
• Team-oriented with a strong safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line.
• Read blueprints or schematics to determine components and connections.
• Cut, bend, and braze tubing to form liquid and suction lines.
• Remove air from the system and charge with refrigerant as specified.
• Conduct pre-startup checks and verify equipment readiness.
• Identify power/tools needed and perform assembly tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
