Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembler II - Refrigeration for the 1st shift at our Keosauqua, IA facility. You will fabricate and assemble components of refrigeration systems for environmental test equipment according to blueprints or schematic drawings, and you will mount, braze, and wire subsystems as required.

We value teamwork, speed, accuracy, and adherence to safety. Candidates should be able to read rulers and measuring instruments, use hand tools and welding equipment, and adapt

Qualifications

• Read blueprints or schematic drawings to determine component placement and sizing.
• Proficient with hand tools and welding equipment used in refrigeration assembly.
• Read rulers, tape measures, or squares to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or schematics to locate components and determine placement.
• Mount compressors, condensers, and other parts on frames.
• Cut, bend, braze tubing to form liquid and suction lines; adjust valves to specification.
• Assemble wiring and controls; read and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and support other production tasks as needed.
