Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II - Refrigeration to fabricate and assemble refrigeration system components per blueprints within a fast-paced production environment. You will mount parts, braze tubing, and ensure proper charging of refrigerants while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend blueprints or schematic drawings to determine components and layouts.
• Proficient with handheld tools and measuring devices for accurate assembly.
• Demonstrated ability to read rulers, tapes, squares and other measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend blueprints or schematic drawings to determine location, size and type of components.
• Mount components on frames using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Cut, bend and braze tubing to form fluid lines for refrigeration systems.
• Adjust valves per specifications and purge air; charge system with refrigerant.
• Assemble electrical wiring circuits and controls as needed.
• Identify maintenance needs and work at different workstations as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area and use required safety gear.
