Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking an Assembler II – Sub Assembly Refrigeration to join our Operations team in Centerville, IA. You will assemble refrigeration components, read BOMs and blueprints, and work with coils, valves, and tubing to build high-quality equipment.

You will be part of a production team focused on safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with opportunities to learn diverse equipment and gain expertise in the field.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting job orders and bills of materials.
• Reading blueprints or schematic drawings to identify components.
• Proficient with measuring tools and basic hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials
• Identify parts used on their assigned product line
• Read and comprehend blueprints or schematic drawings
• Cut, bend, and braze tubing for lines
• Remove air and charge refrigerant
• Conduct pre-startup checks
• Use power tools safely
• Maintain clean and safe work area
