• Read and comprehend a job order and bill of materials.
• Identify parts used on the assigned product line and their placement on the product.
• Read blueprints or schematic drawings to determine locations, size, capacity, and type of components.
• Cut, bend, and braze tubing to form liquid and suction lines or refrigeration systems.
• Remove air from the system and charge with refrigerant.
• Conduct pre-startup checks on equipment.
• Identify power and hand tools used on the assigned product line.
• Perform assembly-type functions using hand or power tools.
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
