Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Sub Agent to assist in the delivery of highways upgrade projects for Liverpool City Council. You will help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, supervising on-site activities and coordinating with project teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of infrastructure experience, a relevant degree, and strong leadership, communication, and safety knowledge to manage site operations and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar infrastructure role.
  • Experience in managing site operations and supervising teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager and Senior Agent in planning, execution, and closing of construction projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate on-site activities, including direct labor, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and material usage.
  • Assist with procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure work meets specified standards.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports and other project documentation.
  • Support the management of project budgets and cost control.
