Job summary

Aureos in the United States (Texas) is seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee civil engineering projects from inception to completion, delivering on time, within budget, and to high quality while adhering to safety standards.

You will lead on-site crews, coordinate with clients and authorities, manage schedules and budgets, and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as Site Agent or similar supervisory role in civil infrastructure.
• Certifications such as SMSTS/CSCS are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities according to plans and quality standards.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity and collaboration.
• Develop and implement project schedules ensuring milestones are met.
• Monitor progress and address delays to protect timelines and budgets.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed; conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
• Maintain effective liaison with clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and regular financial reporting to senior management.
• Procure materials/equipment and ensure timely delivery at cost-effective prices.
• Maintain accurate site records including diaries, progress and incident reports.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure standards are met and identify improvement opportunities.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Site Agent or in a similar supervisory role within the civil engineering sector.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering a variety of civil infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, drainage, utilities).
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, processes, and relevant industry standards.
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., CDM regulations).
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS) are highly desirable.
