Job summary

VOA Northern Rockies is seeking a Skills Trainer – Sub Acute to provide support, skill training, and supervision to residents at the Subacute Crisis facility. You will document case notes and coordinate with staff per policies.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and timely certification in CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and MANDT. Travel is occasional; teamwork with clinical staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, MANDT within 30 days.
• Experience with mental illness/substance use and crisis work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, activities, and skills training in line with treatment plans.
• Prepare materials for day treatment and maintain workspace.
• Maintain program facilities and monitor safety and risk.
• Coordinate daily operations and client transportation as needed.
• Assist with assessments and documentation per agency policies.
• Participate in supervision and training as required by staff.
