Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern Rockies is seeking a Skills Trainer to provide support, skill training, and one-on-one supervision to clients per the treatment plan. The role includes maintaining case records and coordinating facility operations with staff.

Essential functions include in-home training, preparing materials, coordinating daily operations, transporting clients, and basic risk assessment within ARC policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
• 1-2 years of training/experience in adult education, or populations with mental illness.
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, MANDT within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and skills training per the treatment plan.
• Attend team meetings and coordinate with staff for client needs.
• Conduct in-home skills training to develop independent living skills.
• Prepare materials for day treatment and maintain workspace.
• Coordinate daily facility operations and monitor rooms and safety.
• Transport clients to access services and appointments.
• May administer drug/alcohol screens as needed and allowed by policy.
• Maintain case records and participate in supervision and training.
