Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant to deliver an exceptional guest experience on the sales floor and in the fitting rooms. You will help guests find the right styles, illuminate product assortments, and execute Visual Merchandising standards that showcase our fashion offerings.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment, with training provided to build product knowledge and in-store skills.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards and signing.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight and move merchandise to the sales floor as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor through priority and merchandising fills.
• Keep backroom organized to support replenishment and guest requests.
