Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to greet guests, maintain a welcoming floor, and present merchandise with energy and style. You will help guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, supporting a fast-paced retail environment.

You will participate in visual merchandising, maintain store standards, and uphold safety and customer service as part of your daily duties. Training is provided to build confidence in guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor by executing visual standards and signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight and push freight to the salesfloor, locating merchandise in the backroom.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes by executing signage and merchandising changes.
• Maintain fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise between fitting room and salesfloor.
• Adhere to safety policies and ethical conduct at all times.
• Assist with back-up cashier duties and drive-up or pick-up operations while complying with applicable laws.
