Job summary

Industrial Color is seeking a Sample Coordinator for our onsite studio in New York. The role involves receiving, tracking, packing, and returning merchandise while keeping accurate records in our digital systems.

You will collaborate with producers, stylists, clients, and freelance teams to ensure products are production-ready and well-managed before, during, and after shoots. This hands-on role requires exceptional organization, proactive communication, and comfort handling high volumes of

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in studio sample coordination or similar environment.
• Previous on-set or production experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing high volume of physical product or merchandise.
• Ability to communicate professionally with producers, stylists, clients, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming product and merchandise.
• Oversee shot lists and merchandise lists for completeness and accuracy.
• Ingest shot lists and merchandise information into internal systems.
• Check merchandise in and out and track through production stages.
• Identify missing, damaged, or problematic merchandise before and after production.
• Unpack and prepare merchandise for set (steaming, racking, unboxing, tagging).
• Organise merchandise and racks with producers and stylists.
• Serve as primary contact for product status, location, and handling.
• Develop understanding of client products and requirements.
• Pack merchandise and coordinate timely returns.
