United Legwear & Apparel Co. in New York City is seeking a Sample Coordinator, Production to manage the flow, organization, and submission of samples across the development lifecycle.

You will ensure accuracy and timely delivery while coordinating with internal teams, licensors, and external partners. You will need a High School Diploma and 1–2 years’ experience; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat, plus strong communication and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Sample Coordinator or Production support role, preferably within legwear (socks) or apparel.
• Demonstrated ability to review and approve yarn colors and lab dips.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with strong follow-through and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sample archive room, including sample bins and sample walls, ensuring organization and accuracy.
• Track and manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of SMS (Salesman Samples), TOP (Top of Production) and Photography samples to internal sales and merchandising team
• Coordinate sample submissions for licensor review, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met.
