Job summary

Sawhorse Productions, a Los Angeles-based creative studio, seeks a highly organized Project Coordinator to support the Head of Production and Assistant Head of Production. This role starts as a part-time hourly position (30–40 hours/week) in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

The office is located in Studio City, Los Angeles; primarily in-office with occasional remote flexibility. Typical hours are 9:30 AM–6:00 PM PST with a 30-minute break.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience in a studio, network, agency, or production company in an administrative role.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Keynote.
• Proactive mindset with problem-solving instincts.
• Ability to anticipate needs and gaps in admin support.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and collaboration with teammates.
• Willingness to work weekends or late nights when project timelines require it.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for heads of production and production staff.
• Coordinate meetings, email, calls, travel, and general office tasks.
• Track calendars, deadlines, and milestones across active productions.
• Prepare decks, presentations, and reports for internal and client use.
• Monitor staffing and department bandwidth to ensure coverage across projects.
• Engage in high-level team meetings and keep stakeholders informed.
• Support office operations and keep the Studio City space running smoothly.
