Job summary

Porto is looking for a part time studio assistant to support its founder in New York. The role involves overseeing customer service, liaising with our 3PL on orders, shipping, inventory, and fulfillment, and monitoring Shopify orders and day-to-day e-commerce needs.

Based in New York and available to work in-person 1 day/week, you should be highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication. Prior experience in ecommerce, fashion, wholesale, or operations is a plus.

• Previous experience in e-commerce, fashion, accessories, retail, consumer products, wholesale, or operations is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service and ensure every customer interaction feels thoughtful and on-brand
• Liaise with our 3PL on orders, shipping, inventory, and fulfillment
• Monitor Shopify orders, inventory, and day-to-day e-commerce needs
• Arrange PR samples, including preparing, tracking, and following up on sample requests
• Coordinate wholesale orders, communication, and fulfillment
• Keep operations organize and assist with various office management tasks
