Glowbar is seeking a Studio Manager in Boston, MA to lead a busy location, drive client experience, and grow revenue. You will manage staff, oversee operations, and protect profitability while building a culture that reflects Glowbar’s values.

Expect to own the front desk part-time, analyze performance data, recruit and train teams, and maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and brand. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive people management experience in a fast-paced, service-based industry.
• Proven track record of operational and financial success, including driving margins and growth.
• Exceptional leadership presence with ability to hire, train, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Management style balancing accountability with empathy.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and collaboration.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and full-time 7-day open availability.

Responsibilities

• Own the front desk as a hospitality guru for two full shifts per week and daily lunch break coverage.
• Analyze weekly and monthly performance data to spot trends and opportunities in membership and product sales growth.
• Recruit, interview, and build a team reflecting Glowbar’s values and standards.
• Onboard and train new members; conduct performance shadows and bi-weekly 1:1s with scorecard reviews.
• Maintain studio morale and address friction to create a strong retention culture.
• Manage studio labor and expenses with an owner’s mindset to protect profitability.
• Build Glowbar brand in the market by fostering local partnerships and lead generation.
• Ensure studio compliance standards (safety, cleanliness, and brand) are met.
