Job summary

Glowbar seeks a Studio Manager to own a location's team, client experience, and business results. You’ll lead by example, manage operations, and drive growth while maintaining Glowbar’s standards.

You’ll oversee front-desk leadership, analyze performance data, recruit and train staff, and foster a culture that blends accountability with care. Weekend availability is required for a fast-paced beauty environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive people management experience in fast-paced service-based industry.
• Proven track record of operational and financial success, including driving margins and growth.
• Exceptional leadership presence with ability to hire, train, coach, and develop teams.
• Management style balancing accountability with empathy for a positive, high-performance culture.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills fostering trust and collaboration.
• Strategic problem-solver who thrives under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Flexible availability, including weekends; full-time with 7-day open availability.
• Enthusiasm for beauty, skincare, and a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the front desk and be a hospitality guru for two shifts per week and daily lunch break coverage.
• Analyze weekly and monthly performance data to spot trends and unlock growth opportunities.
• Recruit, interview, and build a team reflecting Glowbar’s values and standards.
• Onboard and train new members; conduct performance shadows and bi-weekly 1:1s.
• Maintain strong team morale and proactively address friction to sustain culture and retention.
• Manage studio labor and expenses with an owner’s mindset to protect profitability.
• Build Glowbar brand in the market through local partnerships and lead generation.
• Ensure studio compliance standards (safety, cleanliness, brand) are met.
