Job summary

JETSET Pilates West Knoxville is seeking a General Manager to lead pre-sale, oversee studio operations, and drive membership growth ahead of our Spring 2027 opening.

The General Manager will build foundational membership during construction, lead community outreach, hire and develop the team, and own the studio’s financial performance.

This hands-on role demands sales ability, marketing initiative, operational discipline, and a strong local presence to ensure a premium studio experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience (boutique fitness, hospitality, or service-based business preferred).
• Proven success in membership sales or revenue-driven roles.
• Experience with pre-sale or new studio openings strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during pre-opening phase.
• CPR/AED certification required (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute pre-sale strategy to build foundational membership prior to opening.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard instructors and studio team members.
• Oversee daily studio operations including scheduling, payroll, reporting.
• Instruct 6 to 8 classes per week and be capable of covering classes when necessary.
• Maintain understanding of programming and instructor performance standards.
