You must be reliable, friendly, and able to work eight hours per week, with transportation your own. Compensation aligns with Maryland minimum wage; work is part-time and fits student class schedules.

• Perform and follow through with tasks as assigned by (staff librarians).
• Student will need to provide their own transportation both to and from work.

Job description

Position Title: Student Worker - Local County Library System Aid (Work-Study)

The Local County Library Systems and the School of Education is a representative of the office and university both off site and on campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preschool story hours as scheduled by the Frederick County Library System librarians.
• Assist with family programming as scheduled by the Frederick County Library System librarians.

Salary and Hours

Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland. Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
