• Perform event set-ups and breakdowns (tents, stages, floor covering, barricades, tables, chairs, etc.).
• Move offices and dormitory furniture, file cabinets, etc., following proper procedures.
• Assist any other department within the campus community as needed.

Position Title: Student Worker - Campus Events/Logistics (Work-Study) Job Description: The Campus Events/Logistics student worker will perform all duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor/Manager/Director. Event set-ups/breakdowns, including tents, stages, floor covering, barricades, tables, chairs etc. Office moves, including furniture, file cabinets, etc., ensuring that appropriate moving procedures are followed to prevent damage. Dormitory moves including beds/bunking beds, desks, chests, etc. May be asked to assist any other department within the campus community and will be required to perform any other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor/Manager/Director. Must be willing and able to work independently without supervision. Be able to withstand being on his/her feet the entire shift. Assist with other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads up and down stairs. Must be able to work in all types of weather. Must be able to work well as a team. Salary and Hours Students are paid the current minimum wage for Maryland. Students will work a total of eight (8) hours per week.
