The Service Learning office and ECC are partnering to make Park Ave safer for our preschool program! We are hiring students for spring semester to serve as Crossing Guards at the ECC Monday thru Friday during the Early Childhood Center's arrival and dismissal times. A portion of the shift will be outdoors, so appropriately dressing for the weather is a must!

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

The Service Learning office and ECC are partnering to make Park Ave safer for our preschool program! We are hiring students for spring semester to serve as Crossing Guards at the ECC Monday thru Friday during the Early Childhood Center's arrival and dismissal times. A portion of the shift will be outdoors, so appropriately dressing for the weather is a must!

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Applicants must commit to the full Spring semester
• Successful completion of FBI/BCI Background Check (paid for by the program)
• Completion of medical exam (through the student health center)
• Complete the provided training (January)
• Attend every assigned shift
• Assist ECC families by ensuring a safe crosswalk during arrival and departure times
• Assist with small ECC projects, as time allows
