Qualifications

• Master's Degree or PhD in psychology/counseling and experience as a generalist clinician with young adults.
• 3–5 years of experience and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to handle diverse constituencies.
• Strong computer competency including Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
• Commitment to confidentiality and meeting documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Triage and crisis intervention.
• Limited individual and group counseling as indicated.
• Selected outreach efforts.
• Provide referral resources to students, faculty and staff; consult with residence hall staff and departments as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention services for students, faculty and staff.
• Collaborate with Counseling Center psychiatrist: make referrals, discuss referrals, attend case review meetings.
