Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking a temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant in the Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing to support web maintenance and updates for the university site.

You will gain hands-on training in coordinating websites and digital communications, including Drupal tasks, image handling, and accessibility improvements, while collaborating with the Web Services Team and other campus departments.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other computer programs.
• Effective communication skills.
• Dependable and able to follow through on assignments.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with appropriate follow‑through.
• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.

Responsibilities

• Edit pages on the csustan.edu Drupal site.
• Post images and photos to the website.
• Clean up content and directory structure on the website.
• Assist with web accessibility updates and remediation.
• Build custom website forms using MS Forms.
• Help fulfill, solve and handle web work order requests from across the campus.
• Communicate with University departments and programs regarding site updates and edits.
• Assist with basic web graphics for web use.
