Qualifikationen

• Must hold and maintain a valid Maryland Driver’s License with no more than 2 points on driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical and remain free of controlled substances; pass random drug/alcohol tests.
• Able to read and understand communications regarding student information and maintain confidentiality.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public and provide written/oral reports.
• Physically able to perform essential functions, including lifting up to 40 pounds and navigating bus steps.

Aufgaben

• Operates a school alternative vehicle safely in accordance with state laws and HCPS policies.
• Assists students and passengers with loading/unloading and safety equipment.
• Reports mechanical problems or defects in the vehicle promptly.
• Maintains communication between home and school and with teachers and transport staff.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary vehicle and professional appearance.
• Attends trainings and meetings to maintain required skills and meet district/state requirements.
