Job summary

The Program Administrator II at Tulane University will lead development of comprehensive services for Spring Scholar and transfer student cohorts, serving as the primary contact during the first year. Responsibilities include coordinating events, onboarding communications, and collaboration across faculty and staff.

A Bachelor's degree with 2 years related experience (or a high school diploma with 5 years) is required, with preference for graduate study in higher education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 year of directly related work experience.
• OR High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of directly related work experience.
• Master’s Degree in higher education administration, college student development, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience with initiatives supporting the successful transition of new students.
• Demonstrated commitment to building programs and services with diverse student groups in mind.
• Proven student-centered and customer-service-oriented professionalism; and
• Experience developing and implementing assessment and evaluation to achieve continuous programmatic improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage projects and plan successful events in line with an overall mission towards student success;
• Understanding of, and commitment to, assisting students in their transition to college;
• Knowledge of effective strategies for programmatic assessment;
• Ability to foster a collaborative environment across organizational lines with a variety of constituents; and
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present information to a variety of audiences
• Working knowledge of standard applications (Word, Excel, Access).
