Job summary

Tulane University in New Orleans seeks an Assistant Director of Student Services to advise and counsel student organizations, oversee budgets, and coordinate wellness programming.

The role partners with the Assistant Dean on student activities, supports event planning, and fosters an inclusive campus life. A BA/BS and 4 years in student services are required; JD preferred. Strong communication, organization, and confidentiality are essential. This is a full-time position on campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) required.
• 4 years of student organization or student wellness support, or other relevant higher education experience.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) Preferred
• 3+ years of higher education student program development or related student affairs experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel student organizations on activities and wellness.
• Oversee financial oversight and guidance for student groups.
• Assist with event planning and logistics for student activities.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Dean on matters relating to student activities.
