University of Texas at Austin's Technology Resources is seeking a Student Technician to provide entry-level desktop support to faculty, staff, and students on UT's campus. You will assist with deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of university-owned computers and devices while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role is limited to UT Austin students, offers 19 hours per week on-site, and provides hands-on experience in enterprise IT operations in a campus setting.

Purpose

Provide entry-level desktop support and IT services to faculty, staff, and students in a diverse academic and administrative environment. Assist with the deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of university-owned computers, software, mobile devices, and related technology services while delivering excellent customer service and gaining hands-on experience in enterprise IT operations.

Required Qualifications

Working Conditions

• This position is located on the UT Campus, and the duration of employment is from September to December 2026.
• Flexible work schedule within the standard work week: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and 19 hours per week maximum.
