Working with databases and working with confidential information. Working with Word, Excel, and Outlook programs.

General Notes

Purpose

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Two years or more of experience performing the specific skill or experience of the temporary assignment. Bachelor’s degree. Proficient experience with Workday (Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP) Software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access and Outlook applications. Experience with Web browsers. Capable of working in a fast-paced and changing work environment. Demonstrated ability to work with confidential documents and maintain confidentiality. Excellent attention to detail. Professional demeanor.

Hourly Rate

$15.00 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • Attire: Business Casual
  • May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation. Use of manual dexterity. Climbing of stairs. Lifting and moving.
Work Shift
  • The work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Candidates must be flexible to work varied hours as indicated by job assignments.

Employment Eligibility:

Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. Staff who are promotion/transfer eligible may apply for positions without supervisor approval.

Retirement Plan Eligibility:

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.

A criminal history background check will be required for finalist(s) under consideration for this position.
