Job summary
Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) seeks a Student Support Technician to deliver in-person, phone, email, and remote technology support to students. The role includes helping students access accounts and software, diagnosing issues, documenting requests, and training users.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with IT experience as stated.
- Three years of IT experience as an alternative qualification.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person, telephone, email, and remote technology support to HVCC students.
- Assist students with accessing and using college accounts, email, authentication, and software.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, account access, OS, and connectivity issues.
- Document support requests and escalate as needed.
- Provide individual guidance and non-course-based training on college technologies.
- Assist with orientation and supervision of student workers in IIT support areas.
- Maintain knowledge resources and updated instructions for student technologies.
