Job summary

The position involves student supervision, personal cares support, and collaboration with teachers and related services staff. Training will be provided, with emphasis on equity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Credentials required or preferred as listed in Minnesota paraeducator guidelines.
• Transcript(s) must be included with application.
• Ability to work with diverse student needs under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow Student Behavior Intervention Plans and Emergency Healthcare Plans.
• Provide support for students with personal cares as needed.
• Observe and document students' academic and social behaviors.
• Collect data and communicate progress to teachers and related staff.
• Support during meals, recess, and field trips.
• Monitor and supervise lunchroom and playground as required.
