Job summary

Charyl Stockwell Academy is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals/TST Assistants for a 10-month position with summers off. The paraprofessional will work with middle and high school students, supporting academic, organizational, and social-emotional needs.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers, supervising students, and collecting data while maintaining confidentiality. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; a high school diploma is required with a preference for further education

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or college coursework in education preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to support students with behavioral and academic needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students individually and in small groups with academic and behavioral needs.
• Assist teachers with instruction, interventions, accommodations, and modifications.
• Reinforce classroom expectations and support a positive, structured learning environment.
• Supervise students throughout the school day, including classrooms, hallways, lunch, arrival, dismissal, and activities.
• Assist students with organization, assignments, study skills, and technology.
• Collect student data and maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators.
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and other duties as assigned.
