Job summary

AmeriCorps & Senior Corps seeks members to work directly with students, implementing effective support strategies while collaborating with families and schools to promote student success. Members gain practical experience, skill development, and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities include maintaining a caseload of 2–5 students, assisting with intake, facilitating weekly meetings, providing academic support, and coordinating with school staff and community partners.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students or in educational support roles.
• Ability to coordinate with families, schools and community partners.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support and help with problem-solving and goal setting.
• Coordinate communication between families, schools, and community partners.
• Attend supervisory meetings as needed.
• Complete weekly documentation and progress reports.
• Support AmeriCorps service project activities by planning and outreach.
