Job summary

AmeriCorps State / National program in Lawrence, Kansas, will work directly with students, implementing support strategies and collaborating with families and schools to promote student success.

You will maintain a caseload of 2-5 students, assist with intake, facilitate weekly meetings, coordinate with staff, and document progress. The program supports service projects and outreach alongside a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students or youth in educational settings.
• Ability to coordinate with families, schools and community partners.
• Familiarity with AmeriCorps program guidelines and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 2-5 students.
• Assist with intake and assessments.
• Facilitate weekly student meetings focused on skill-building.
• Coordinate with school staff and local service providers.
• Complete weekly documentation and progress reports.
• Support AmeriCorps service projects and outreach efforts.
