Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking an In School Intervention Coordinator (ISIC) at Southwest Middle in Charlotte, NC to promote student safety, well-being, and academic success through behavior management and SEL programs.

Under principal direction, you will supervise students in the ISIC, deliver SEL curricula, provide academic support, monitor data, and collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to reintegrate students into classrooms.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field and 2 years of experience in Human Services.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services field required.
• Active NCI Certification preferred.
• Experience with behavior management and data reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide close supervision to students in the In School Intervention Center (ISIC).
• Implements SEL curricula and delivers individual and group instruction on social skills.
• Provides academic assistance to ISIC students and monitors progress.
• Develops and maintains behavior management plans and data reports.
• Collaborates with families, staff, and community agencies to support student outcomes.
• Facilitates reintegration of students into regular classrooms post-ISIC.
