Job summary

Synergy Academies in Los Angeles is seeking an in-person Student Support Specialist who will supervise students, assist teachers, and help maintain a positive school culture throughout transitions, meals, and activities.

You will work with teachers to plan instructional support, prepare materials, supervise during lunch and breaks, help with field trips, and support classroom management according to the school's policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Prior classroom experience desirable.
• Proficiency in English; Spanish language is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students before/after school, during meals, and at transitions.
• Assist teachers in planning and implementing instruction.
• Prepare instructional materials and small-group support.
• Maintain classroom environment and school culture per policies.
• Assist with field trips and student records as needed.
