Year Up United is seeking a Student Services Manager to support prospective and current Year Up United students across Seattle. The role includes direct case management, crisis intervention, and coordinating access to social services to reduce barriers and promote student success.

The ideal candidate holds an MSW, has 2–4 years of advocacy or case management experience, and can collaborate with site staff while safeguarding confidentiality and ethics in a fast-paced, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of advocacy or case management experience.
• MSW strongly preferred; ability to supervise MSW interns.
• Crisis intervention knowledge and professional documentation skills.
• Established network of local social service resources.

Responsabilités

• Engage prospective students to identify those likely to succeed.
• Interview and assess readiness; onboard conditionally accepted students.
• Coordinate with staff to address barriers and refer resources.
• Provide one-on-one crisis intervention and support planning.
• Document interactions in the program database; track progress.
• Develop psycho-educational and community groups as needed.
• Supervise Year Up United MSW interns and support staff.
• Participate in site meetings; advise on program improvements.
• Build partnerships with community organizations for services.
