Job summary

American Career College in Los Angeles is seeking an associate in student services to guide students through entry to exit, coordinate services, and support a student-centric campus culture.

You will collaborate with Admissions, Education, and the Student Resource Center to ensure retention, plan graduation activities, and monitor satisfaction with a focus on compliance with Title IV, ABHES, BPPE and other regulations.

Qualifications

• Three to five years previous experience in student services.
• Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most accurate information, reports and projections.
• Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs such as Title IV, ABHES, BPPE and other accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating all student services programs to ensure successful entry to and exit from the college.
• Coordinating and managing student relations activities including retention strategies and graduation ceremonies.
• Assist with student ID cards, interfaces with Admissions and other campus leadership to meet retention goals.
• Conduct ongoing student satisfaction reviews and recommend program improvements.
