Job summary

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Success in Undergraduate Programs. This role leads the Business Pathways Academy (BPA) and partners across academic, co-curricular, and community-based experiences to drive engagement, achievement, and retention.

You will monitor BPA student progress, provide proactive advising, and develop facilitated study groups. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and data-informed evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• A total of three (3) years (36 months) in education, training and/or work experience in higher education academic student retention services.

Responsibilities

• Lead BPA program and improve student engagement, academic performance and retention.
• Oversee delivery of integrated programming across academic, co-curricular, and community-based experiences.
• Coordinate BPA with college-wide learner experience goals and reporting.
• Develop and execute cohort-based student success strategy and materials.
• Provide advising and degree planning for BPA students, including those at risk.
• Supervise BPA staff and track program metrics and dashboards.
