Job summary

Partners for Rural Impact is seeking a full-time Student Success Navigator to integrate programming within a local school and act as the primary liaison with community partners. The role focuses on connecting students to health, wellness, arts, safety, and college/career planning services, and leading a school-level partnership council.

The position is year-round, onsite, and requires coordination with multiple partners, staff, and families to ensure seamless delivery of services and program

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in human services or related field is required (three years experience).
• Experience in community engagement and coordinating with rural schools/communities is required.
• Ability to manage a multi-faceted program, work with diverse populations, and travel as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in data processing and basic spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate working knowledge of Promise Neighborhood outcomes and objectives.
• Coordinate with Academic Interventionists to wrap around needs of students.
• Support student achievement toward PN targets and results.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of services.
• Collaborate with PN team to deliver services along the PN pipeline.
• Provide leadership with the school principal to implement the program plan.
• Assess student and family needs and adjust services to meet outcomes.
• Liaise with grant partners, ensure training and role clarity.
• Communicate the PN mission to community, parents, staff and students.
• Participate in school committees and lead the Partnership Council.
• Plan events and services related to arts, wellness, safety, college/career exploration, and enrichment.
