Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or some college experience required.
• Experience as educator, social worker, community health worker, case manager, counselor, or community advocate preferred.
• Excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Co-design individualized student success plans with children and families.
• Document and track progress against the plan with monthly updates.
• Complete regular check-ins with children (in person, text, email, or video).
• Facilitate communication with faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide students and advocate for their needs.
• Engage families and the community to meet student needs.
• Collaborate with neighborhood associations and community leaders to share resources.
• Attend staff meetings and monthly supervision.
• Participate in Hope Zone workgroups and events.
• Prepare monthly reports for leadership and workgroups.
• Support Out-of-School time programming at local schools.
