Job summary

Harbor, Inc. seeks a Success Coach to join the Ohio Means Jobs Lucas County team.

This role delivers professional support to participants in the Benefits Bridge Program, guiding families in navigating benefit cliffs and connecting to community resources based on individualized service plans. Must have a high school diploma or GED (associate's degree preferred), possess a valid driver’s license, be willing to work nights/weekends, and obtain the EMPath certificate within 120 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience receiving public assistance such as childcare, SNAP, OWF, etc.
• Must obtain EMPath Certificate within 120 days of hire.
• Must maintain CE requirements for EMPath Certificate.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Uses experiences with public assistance to support participants on an ongoing basis.
• Completes assessments, bridge scores, and develops service plans with participants.
• Refers and supports attendance at financial literacy training and related programs.
• Provides direct services, maintains weekly contact, and monitors progress toward goals.
• Acts as advocate to secure needed community resources and services.
• Participates in Care Team meetings and communicates progress to the team.
