Job summary

Omega Community Development Corporation seeks a County Youth Student Success Navigator to mentor foster youth in Dayton, managing caseloads, developing SSPs, and coordinating wraparound support to boost attendance and academics.

You will collaborate with school staff, Children Services, and Omega CDC's Education Department to provide trauma-informed, goal-focused guidance supporting long-term success.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in youth development, education, or social services; foster/group home youth experience preferred.
• Trauma-informed care, student support planning, and culturally responsive engagement practices.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, excellent written and verbal communication, data-driven and deadline-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Student Success Plans (SSPs) within 30 days of assignment.
• Conduct multiple weekly 1:1 check-ins with each student, tracking attendance, academics, and wellness.
• Coordinate tutoring, counseling, and career exploration opportunities with Omega CDC and Hope Zone partners.
• Serve as primary liaison between children services caseworkers, school teams, and group home staff.
