Job summary

Chamberlain University is seeking a Student Support Liaison to promote student success by providing holistic, student-centered support across service areas. You will be a key contact for students and help remove barriers to persistence, collaborating with campus teams to ensure timely, caring responses aligned with Chamberlain Care values.

Reporting to Advising and Retention Services, you will arrange appointments, assist with portal navigation, support student activities, plan events like

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1+ year in higher education, customer service, or related experience required.
• High level of interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize effectively.
• Exposure to software and tools: Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Copilot.
• Knowledge of higher ed federal/state regulations.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student questions and connect them to appropriate resources.
• Assist students with appointment scheduling, portal navigation, and self-service tools.
• Promote and support student opportunities and activities (federal work study, student orgs, tutoring, Chamberlain Care Closet).
• Plan and facilitate events like career fairs, open houses, workshops, and graduation.
• Assist students with questions regarding local/state funding, military services, and scholarships.
• Serve as the point of contact for compliance audits.
• Identify opportunities and implement process/tech solutions to enhance retention journey.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of enterprise applications and business processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
