Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educational Support Specialist to help foster student success in a safe, inclusive environment. The role partners with curriculum, compliance, and leadership to implement quality learning, adhering to policies and regulations.

You will support teachers, adapt lessons for diverse needs, monitor student progress, and collaborate with leadership to drive continuous program improvement. CA-specific guidelines are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, child development, social work, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Three or more years of experience in youth development, after-school programming, or related field.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, licensing regulations, and educational standards; familiarity with CA ELO-P/ASES and Heritage licensing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Model and guide staff to implement individualized and small-group instruction.
• Adapt materials to meet diverse student needs and support IEP/504/ELL plans.
• Foster positive relationships and promote student participation and self-regulation.
• Provide behavior management support and implement safety practices.
• Monitor students across settings to ensure safety and inclusion.
• Collect progress data and share feedback with managers.
• Collaborate with Area Manager and Impact Team to drive improvement plans.
• Ensure program adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
