Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educational Support Specialist to support student success and program excellence. You will collaborate with curriculum, compliance, and field leadership to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment and adherence to best practices and regulations.

The role supports instructional staff, applies IEP/504/ELL accommodations, and helps monitor student progress, safety, and program quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
3+ years of proven experience in youth development or after-school programming.
Familiarity with assessments, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
Knowledge of safety protocols, licensing and educational standards; CA ELO-P/ASES familiarity desirable.
Ability to model, mentor, and train staff effectively.
Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel within assigned footprint.

Responsibilities

Assist instructional staff and program teams to implement lessons and activities.
Adapt materials for diverse learners including IEP/504/ELL plans.
Promote positive behavior and student self-regulation.
Support safety, compliance, and inclusion across programs.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to managers.
Collaborate with Area Manager and Impact Team on improvements.
