Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools (GCS) seeks a Graduation Coach to support high school scholars toward graduation and postsecondary readiness. You will use data to identify at-risk students and develop personalized plans with families and teachers.

The role emphasizes transition planning, credit recovery, and mentorship to keep scholars on track. You will partner with counselors and school leaders to implement interventions and expand access to career exploration and community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, training, subject field, curriculum, or related content area.
• Must hold valid teaching or counseling certification in Tennessee or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of counseling and/or teaching experience in high school.
• Ability to analyze academic and behavioral data to identify needs and interventions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify at-risk scholars using academic and behavioral data and design engagement plans.
• Develop individualized Engagement and Career Plans; monitor progress each semester.
• Coordinate interventions, credit recovery options, and transition planning between middle and high schools.
• Provide counseling, mentoring, and career exploration activities for students.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, counselors, and community partners to remove barriers.
