Job summary

FullBloom is hiring a school-based social-emotional services counselor to support students through individual and small-group counseling tied to IEPs/BIPs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to integrate SESI programs, collaborate with families and school staff, and ensure high-quality social-emotional support for diverse student populations.

The role requires a Master’s in a related field and active licensure or eligibility, with 2+ years of relevant school-based experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field (mental health, psychology, counseling).
• 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.
• Professional licensure, including LPC or LCPC, LCSW or LMSW, and LMFT or LMHC, LCMHC.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling services to students in accordance with IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments, analyze data, and develop BIPs.
• Implement behavior management, crisis intervention, and safety procedures.
• Support SEL skill development through targeted curricula and interventions.
• Provide in-service training with teams, including expressive therapy and clinical staff.
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain documents in student files according to regulatory requirements.
