Job summary

SESI, a division of FullBloom, seeks a licensed school-based therapist to provide individual and group counseling to diverse students in California. Services are aligned with IEPs and BIPs within K-12 settings.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support data-driven behavioral strategies under CASE PBIS, and participate in ongoing professional development. A strong license and MSW are preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed mental health professional with active licensure in CA.
• MSW or equivalent with school-based or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Two years' experience with children/adolescents in school settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling to students per IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional goals and IEP meeting participation.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments; analyze data to identify needs; develop BIPs and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management and de-escalation strategies to ensure student safety.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and assessments.
• Provide in-service training with other teams, including expressive therapy and clinical teams.
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain documents in student files according to regulatory requirements.
